This Lake is located at a good height of 2730 m from sea level. It is located in the northern part of Mandi, which is 49 km away from Mandi. It is said that in the 13th century, this lake was dedicated to the sage Prashar. Which is used to say that he was a great guy and used to do meditation on the bank of this lake. It is 65 km away from Keylong, which is the district headquarter of Lahul Spiti. It connects with many rivers like the Chandra River downstream at Tandi, and then it firms the Chandra Bhaga River in Himachal Pradesh and then when it enters the Territory of Jammu and Kashmir than it becomes the Chenab River. Nako Lake
