Nako Lake: the beautiful secluded reservoir

Nako Lake is a high-lying beauty-studded lake in the Pooh sub-division of the Kinnaur district. The village is buried in the boundary of the lake. Nako Lake is about 3662 meters (12014 ft) above sea level. Willow and Chinnar trees surround this lake. Due to this, this lake seems attractive.

How to reach Nako lake 

There is a Naco Hindustan-Tibet Highway between Kako and Reckong Pio (Kinnaur). You can reach Nako village by two buses, which travel daily from Kinnaur to Nako and beyond. If travelling on behalf of Manali, you can travel in a bus that leaves Rekong Pio to Kaja, which covers Nako village.
