Maharaja Bhupindra Singh is an important name connected to the temple. It is believed that earlier, the Palace of Chail was to be constructed here, but just before the night of construction, Sidh Baba came into the dream of Maharaja. Sidh Baba mentioned that this place is not for residential purposes because sidh baba used to meditate there. Concerning Sidh Baba, Maharaja changed the site and built the Sidh Baba ka Mandir here, and the Palace location was decided later on.

    The Sidh Baba Ka Mandir is believed to have some natural powers that solve a person’s difficulties. The temple attracts a large number of tourists per year in Chail.
