Lakshadweep Island is the main attraction point for tourists who wish to visit the Watery places more than the full land. The Lakshadweep Islands are thousands of Islands connected, but only some of the Islands are available to visit. Only a few islands are ready to explore. The most exciting thing is Laksha means 1 lakh, and Dweep means Island. It means Lakshadweep Island has 1 lakh islands in it. It is such a huge Island in India, but only hundreds of islands can be visited, and these hundred islands also need a permit to visit.

You can enjoy various water sports like Scuba Diving, Diving from a height, Dolphin Dive, Parasailing, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, etc. There are big fish around Lakshadweep Island, like Barracuda, Sail Fish, and Yellow Fin Tuna; Sharks are in huge numbers in the Arabian Sea, and local boats are available with experienced crews. Lakshadweep Island is mainly situated in the Arabian Sea. You cannot imagine the Island serves its best regarding water quality, and managing crew also serves better.

How to Reach?

You can reach the Island by Ship and Air. Kerala is the nearest location to board a ship and visit the Island. The nearest Airport, Kochi, offers the best route from Delhi to Lakshadweep Island.

Minicoy Island

It is the second-largest Island in Lakshadweep Island. The total covering area of the Island is approximately 4.801 square Kilometres. It is especially known for its Reefs and huts that are made to attract tourists, and, most importantly, the white sand on the beaches of Lakshadweep Island is the tourist’s main attraction. The beach is known for its luxurious hotel facilities and resort comfort. These all are ideal destinations to be visited once in your life.

Bangaram Island

Bangaram Island is a Small and adorable Island on Lakshadweep Island, the largest Island covering 1.200 Km2 on Lakshadweep. With a much smaller population, it has a huge area to relax and escape the tense world. The Government of India is Aiming for International tourism to be visited more than local tourists. The Island gives a sense of connection with nature, and the white sand, as usual, is a gem on the Island. The island silence provides you peace and relaxation, whereas the sunrise and sunset views also fulfil the remaining excitement of people.

The people who live on the Island only serve and work for the tourists who visit the Island. An adventure sport Scuba Diving also takes place; tourists mainly visit the Island because of this adventure. 

Scuba Diving in Lakshadweep

Scuba Diving is one of Lakshadweep Island’s main adventures because the water of DweepIsland is so clear that you can enjoy many water types of creatures during Scuba Diving. There are very wide and diversified varieties of tropical fishes, like turtles, coral sharks, and rays. However, watching these sharks and rays is only allowed for those with CMAS and PADI certificates. Other divers can only dive into the resort’s privacies and securities. Diving with a reputed driving school that helps you tackle perfect equipment and with an experienced team is advised because it’s all about your life.

The watersports also take care of the environment of Kavaratti Island. The Island is home to twelve allots, five submerged banks, and three coral reefs that make the Island special. White sand plays a cherry on the cake, which means it is so beautiful that one cannot even take his eyes off the white sand. The sunset and sunrise play the best role in making the place peaceful and comfortable for tourists. Kavaratti Island has much marine life that can never be seen in India and lies 360 kilometres from Kochi. 

The Island does not have an airport, but they intend to construct one in the future, and the Island is planning to transform it into a Smart City. In the upcoming years, the citizens of Kavaratti Island and India’s Government plan to convert the city into a developed one. It will increase tourism and the services for the tourists who come there to enjoy their lives.
