Hampi has the nearest airport, approximately 160 kilometres away, named Hubli Airport, and the airport operates regular flights from Bangalore. You can visit the Virupaksha temple from morning 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The temple is closed between 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You can see the temple in the evening from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There are no entry fees to visit the temple.
Vijaya vital temple
Vijaya Vittala temple is the main attraction in Hampi. The fantastic temple has the best structural and architectural work all around the temple. Mainly, the temple pillars are built like they’re playing music. No one can imagine the temple’s pillars could play music, but it is the temple’s reality.Â
Three towers encircle the temple from all three sides of it. Returning to the main attraction means the musical pillars named Maha Mantapa, Stone Chariot. The doors of the temple open for the people From morning 8:00 AM to evening 6:00 PM. There are no entry fees for visitors to the temple.
