Govind Ghat is called to be the meeting point for the Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga rivers. Govind Ghat is located approximately 25 kilometers from the Joshimath on NH58 at an altitude of 6,000 feet.

There is a gurudwara for the visitors to explore the spirituality of Govind Ghat. Anyone cannot even imagine a gurudwara with scenic views of the Govind Ghat. The Ghangaria is mainly located at the meeting point of Bhyundar Ganga and Pushpawati, which forms the Laxman Ganga river and later merges with the river Alaknanda Govindghat. The Lakshman Temple is a small spiritual place after crossing Hemkund Sahib. It is not much famous or not to a great to visit. It is a cute little temple to visit. The Temple has the sculpture of Lord Laxman. The Temple’s architecture and views Temple are simple and sober to explore. In summers, the Temple looks simple, and it is fine if you do not visit the Temple. But, in winters, the scenario becomes different.
