Pench National Park spans 758 sq. km in total. This area has a core zone covering 299 sq. km filled with dense forests and abundant wildlife. The remaining 464 sq. km from the buffer zone, which borders the park and has less animal density with coexisting villagers 

There are 11 gates- 5 in Madhya Pradesh and 6 in Maharashtra. Touria Gate in Madhya Pradesh and Khursapar Gate in Maharashtra are among the most famous. Safaris in Pench National Park usually include two trips daily: one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The safaris run from sunrise to sunset, with a break typically from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These timings can vary slightly based on the season and park regulations.

• Tourists can book their safari tickets online up to 120 days in advance of their visit to the national park. They need to provide details such as age, gender, and name along with a valid ID proof, which they must carry during their visit. Acceptable ID proofs include driving license, voter ID card, passport, or Aadhar card.

• It’s important to provide accurate information during booking. Any incorrect details may invalidate the booking.

• Foreign tourists must provide their passport details when booking and carry the same passport during the safari.

Each E-permit allows six tourists to enter the jungle for the safari.

By Air– If you prefer air as a means of transport to reach Pench National Park, you have two primary options – Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur which is about 130 km away, and Jabalpur Airport located approximately 213 away km. Nagpur airport is convenient for both domestic and international travelers while Jabalpur airport serves domestic flights only. Taxis are easily available from the airports for a comfortable journey to Pench National Park 

By road – To reach Pench National Park via road. Seoni in Madhya Pradesh is the best route. Seoni is well connected to nearby places in both Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. the park is located on the Nagpur-Jabalpur highway, making it easy to reach Pench National Park via car, or taxi for a comfortable ride

By rail– To reach Pench National Park via train, the nearest railway station in Madhya Pradesh is Seoni railway station which is approximately 72 km from the destination and connects all the major cities.
