Pushkar Lake: the holiest lake in India
Pushkar Lake is a major pilgrimage site for Hindus. The lake is considered a sacred lake by Hindus. This lake is located in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. 52 Ghats near Pushkar Lake
52 places near the lake are used for holy bathing and rituals. It is said that the water in this lake has medicinal properties, which eliminate all kinds of problems.
There are 52 ghats here. Of these, the bones of Mahatma Gandhi were immersed at Gau Ghat. For this reason, Gau Ghat was named Gandhi Ghat.
Pushkar fairÂ
A fair is organized in Pushkar every year from 22 November to 30 November, which is famous as the Pushkar Fair. According to the Hindu calendar, the Pushkar fair is organized annually from Ekadashi to Kartik Purnima. This fair is organized on a large scale. Pushkar Bazaar
Pushkar Bazaar is popular with tourists. Here, jewellery, decoration, accessories, etc., are in the markets. This market is mainly famous for producing leather goods, puppets, and colourful bangles. This market displays Rajasthani culture and dress. This market is also famous for Rajasthani costumes.
Brahma temple
The Brahma temple dedicated to Lord Brahma is situated in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. This is the only temple dedicated to Brahma Ji in India. Every year lakhs of pilgrims come here to see Brahma Ji. Pushkar is a sacred place because of the temple of Brahma Ji.
