Earlier, it used to take 15 hours in a car to cover the distance to Kullu, the beautiful stretches of hills, making even a journey seem like a tiring endeavour before the expedition actually begins. A new flight option that can cut the travelling time to about two hours on average makes the difference in a travel experience.     The flights will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.

This curtailed travel time from 1 hour and 55 minutes effectively reduces the time taken as compared to conventional means of transport, the 71-seater ATR-72 aircraft comes under India’s Regional Connectivity Scheme (UDAN).
