Puga Valley is in Ladakh and is a part of the Changthang Valley. It is close to the Salt Lake Valley. There are also many hot springs around here.
It is famous for its geothermal formations, which look like mini hills on the ground and, at times, almost seem to be floating. There are also hot springs here that shoot boiling water naturally!
It is best to visit when the weather is pleasant and the skies are clear. April-July and September-October are the best months to visit Puga Valley.
The valley is about 200 kilometres from Leh, and you can reach it by private taxi, which you can hire in Leh.
