The trek is 2-3 kilometres long each way and offers panoramic views of the mountains. It takes 30 minutes each way from the starting point.
The trek is open to visitors from 09.00 A.M. to 05.00 P.M., and you must obtain permission from the forest department to do it.
Although there is no entry fee for the trek, you will have to pay Rs. 500 for a jeep ride to the starting point from the entry point. It is all worth it for the view you get from here!
From Wayanad, reach the Vaduvanchal bus stop and from there, take a bus to the Neelimala view point entrance. You can also book cabs from Wayanad to reach the viewpoint directly.
