G20 Summit in Delhi – Things to keep in mind

– Section 144      Imposed from 8-10 September – No more than      4 people are allowed to gather in public – Schools,      markets and offices are to remain closed for 3 days It is advised not to travel to and inside Delhi during this period

– The      limitations won't affect the mobility of ambulances or vital services. – People are      encouraged to take the Metro to get to their destination since buses won't      be permitted to travel on city roads. – Taxis and      auto-rickshaws are prohibited in Controlled Zone 1 unless they transport      locals or visitors with verified hotel reservations there. Similar limitations will be implemented in Controlled Zone 2 on September 10 between 5 am and 1 pm

Transportation Restrictions

– Only those      arriving at Delhi Airport can enter the New Delhi region after presenting      valid identification proof. – Driving to      IGI Airport could also be impacted. – Special      arrangements have been established for travellers who are driving on their      own to the airport. They are recommended to make travel arrangements with      enough time to spare
