The famous Hill station of Rajasthan has mainly situated in the Aravali Ranges, the most popular temple for which the place is known, i.e., Dilwara Temple. Many waterfalls, Lakes, Rivers, and greenery all around the mountains. March is the best month to visit because it’s the time greenery can be seen at its best, and the springtime starts near March, so there will not be so cold to explore.

How to reach?

Abu Road is the main railway station in Mount Abu. Mount Abu connects with major cities like Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, etc. The nearest domestic airport to Mount Abu is Udaipur Airport which is 270 kilometres from Mount Abu. The nearest International Airport connects from Delhi. Going by bus is also a great idea that will directly lead you to Mount Abu.

Dilwara Temple

Dilwara or Delvada Temples

Dilwara is the most popular Jain temple all over the world. The designs and marble architectural work on the temple enhance its beauty. This heritage place was made in the times when dynasties ruled over India. Elephants transport very large size of marble stones. The hard rocky area of the mountains is compact to climb.

Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary

Mount Abu Wild Life Sanctuary has covered the largest area of Rajasthan’s sanctuaries. The species and the animals all over the harbour are rare, and animals feel protected. The lion’s and leopards’ caves are also made to be watched securely—the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary houses around 112 plant families with 449 genres and 820 species.

You can explore the plant section where various plants are available, like the rose zone, yellow, red, white, and black, ab many other Bamboo variables. You will find monkeys roaming there, and monkeys used to pull only bananas.

Nakki lake

Nakki is one of the best places in Mount Abu to be visited. It attracts tourists the most because it is a humanmade lake at a high altitude, which means approximately 1200 meters, and it is also called the love lake of Mount Abu by couples. You’ll find many tourists come to spend time together, which is also called the holy lake for the proud Garcia tribe. In April, the latter come to the lake on their festival, “Shukla Paksha”, to worship their forefather’s memories.

Guru Shikhar

Guru Shikhar’s heritage place is at the highest peak of Rajasthan and has the best site for Sunrise and sunset. It shows the full view of Mount Abu, located 20 kilometres from Mount Abu. There’s the Sculpture of Lord Vishnu; you can find many devotees of Vishnu there. The temple of Guru Dattatreya’s mother is close to the shrine and is worth seeing.

Mount Abu Bazaar

Mount Abu Bazaar offers many varieties of ethnic, organic, casual, etc. Hence the place is costlier, but it provides premium quality. So, tourists also do not hesitate to give a higher amount whereas you can bargain too. These are the main places that attract tourists to shop, i.e., “Government Handicraft Emporium and the Kashmiri Cottage Emporium.” Find traditional clothing, handicrafts, and popular Kashmiri textiles at these shops. Visit Khadi Bhandar for organic and ayurvedic food, skincare, and hair care products. Many restaurants, hotels, and cafes enjoy real Rajasthani food, and many foreigners come to enjoy Rajasthani food. The bazaars in Mount Abu provide a wonderful opportunity to shop and spend leisurely afternoons and evenings. The bazaar’s location depends on your destination because the bazaar is spread over a wide area in Mount Abu. Timings of the bazaar are 10 am to 7 pm.

Sirohi City

Sirohi City is known for its unique style and Rajasthani artwork. The city mainly shows the architectural work of Jiraval Temple, Karodi Dhwaj Temple, Madhusudan, Mungthala and Patranarayan Temple, Mirpur Temple, Pavapuri Temple, Sarneshwar Temple, and Vasant Garh. The handmade Sculptures and the handmade work all over the temple also show the values of Rajasthan. The climate of Sirohi being surges in summer usually. It crosses 45 degrees in the summer. The best time to visit Sirohi is January to April and November-February.
