The garden is open seven days a week, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The entry fee for visiting the park is rupees 10 to 15 for adults and 5 to 10 for children.

Namchi means the top of the Sky in the language of Tibetan. The place is located around 92 kilometres from Gangtok and at 1700 meters above sea level. Namchi is the most gorgeous and adorable city in Sikkim.

Namchi is the most important religious site for monks, which means devotees of Buddha. Namchi also has a statue of Lord Shiva at the height of 108 feet, and Hindu devotees visit that.

The best time to visit Namchi is from March to September. Another exciting point is Namchi is the capital of South Sikkim. Namchi also has the world’s biggest atchoo of Buddha, known as Padmasambhava [ holy St of Sikkim ].
